REG & The Avenue Centers in Collierville and Mufreesboro, TN
REG has been tapped by The Avenue Carriage Crossing (Collierville, TN) to present a series of family fun nights as part of its "Fridays at the Avenue" event series. In addition, REG will program the monthly "Music in the Park" concert series at The Avenue Murfreesboro (TN).
Fridays at the Avenue is a series of weekly events from April 30 until October 29 at The Avenue Carriage Crossing, located at the intersection of Bill Morris Parkway and Houston Levee Road in Collierville, TN. Events are held in the grassy, open Central Park area in the heart of the center.
Fridays at the Avenue will include a second year of The Avenue's successful Screen on the Green movie series, which features free outdoor screenings of family-friendly movies at dusk.
REG will bring entertainment twice each month to Central Park, including a live band once a month for Music in the Park and a family-oriented entertainer once a month for Family Fun Nights. Show time is 6:00pm each night.
Family Fun Nights will begin April 30 with Kid Davie's magic, fire eating, juggling and more. Subsequent Family Fun Nights will include interactive dance parties, a Build-a-Bear parade, a meet-and-greet with American Idol Finalist Alexis Grace, a balloon tying workshop, and performances by kid-friendly entertainers such as Wild Willy, Super Chikan, and Brittany Russell & the Trunk Monkeys. There will even be an opportunity to win a Wii system on August 20 during a performance by The Summers Band.
Music in the Park will include a series of concerts by some of Memphis' top bands including:
June 11: The Living Daylights
July 9: Elmo & the Shades
Aug 6: The Soul Shockers
Sept 3: Black Rabbit featuring Dani McCullogh
Oct 1: The Venus Mission
Oct 29: The Memphis All-Stars
The world-famous Beale Street Flippers will also appear on July 9 and October 29.

The Avenue Murfreesboro’s Music in the Park is a series of monthly concerts on the last Sunday of each month from April through September.
The Avenue Murfreesboro is located off Exit 76 (Medical Center Parkway) on Interstate 24 in Murfreesboro, TN. Events are held in the Central Park area in the heart of the center from 2:00-5:00pm, with a variety of music styles slated:
April 25: Randy Moore & the Fabulous Suedes (variety and dance band)
May 30: Travis Mann Band (rockabilly)
June 27: Roland Gresham Quartet (jazz)
July 25: Root Road (Christian contemporary)
Aug 29: The Wannabeatles (Beatles tribute)
Sept 26: Awake Awake (originals from a rising young band)
